Terms & Conditions 

Hannah Jane – Wedding & Event Singer
(Yorkshire, UK)

These Terms and Conditions form the agreement between Hannah Jane – Singer (“the Artist”) and the Client (“you”) for live performance services at your event. By booking and paying the booking fee, you agree to the following terms.

1. Booking & Payment
- Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a signed contract and a non-refundable booking fee of £250.
- The remaining balance is due no later than 28 days before the event date.
- Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the booking fee.

2. Cancellations by the Client
- Cancellations made more than 6 months before the event: you may cancel your booking, but the booking fee is non-refundable.
- Cancellations made between 6 months and 4 weeks before the event: you will forfeit the booking fee and a total of 50% of the entire price must be paid.
- Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the event date:  you will forfeit the booking fee and 100% of the total fee must be paid to cover lost income.

3. Cancellations by the Artist
- In the unlikely event that Hannah Jane must cancel due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, all monies paid (including the booking fee) will be refunded in full.
- Reasonable efforts will be made to help the Client find a suitable replacement performer if possible, although this cannot be guaranteed.

4. Performance Details
- Performance length and sets are as outlined in your chosen package.
- Reasonable song requests are welcome and must be provided at least 8 weeks prior to the event.
- The Artist will arrive 90 minutes prior to the event to setup and complete sound checks before the agreed start time.  The artist reserves the right to film sound checks and themselves during the performance.

5. Equipment, Power & Venue Requirements
- The Artist provides all necessary sound equipment and microphones.
- The venue must supply a reliable power source and, if outdoors, adequate shelter from rain or adverse weather.
- If the performance cannot proceed safely due to lack of shelter or power, the Artist reserves the right to cancel the performance with no refund due.

6. Liability & Damages
- The Artist holds Public Liability Insurance and an enhanced DBS certificate.
- The Client will be responsible for any damage to equipment caused by guests, venue staff, or other attendees, with a damage fee of £500 payable by the Client.

7. Travel Fees
Travel fees are applied based on the distance from the Artist’s location (Yorkshire):
- Up to 30-mile round trip – no charge
- 31–60-mile round trip – £30 in total
- 61–70-mile round trip – £50 in total
- 71–90-mile round trip – £55 in total
- 90  -110—mile round trip – £70 in total

- Anything over a 111 mile round trip – £100 in total

8. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure is due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (e.g. extreme weather, venue closure, national emergencies, pandemics, etc..).

The client agrees to take out wedding insurance to cover the cost for such events.

9. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Any amendments must be agreed in writing by both parties.
- By paying the booking fee and signing the contract, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
